Volunteer opportunities arise throughout the year, offering community members a variety of ways to get involved and support Iowa Heart Foundation. Opportunities may include general office assistance, such as preparing mailings and assembling materials, representing Iowa Heart Foundation at community events, or staffing a booth at festivals, health fairs, and other outreach activities.
To help ensure a safe environment for all participants, volunteers who will be working with minors are required to complete a background check in accordance with organizational policy. Depending on the role, volunteers may also be asked to participate in a brief training program.
